Healing The Troubled Past 

The launch of CCS 'Healing The Troubled Past' programme took place in Corpus Christi Neighbourhood Centre on Wednesday 24 March 2010 at 11.00am. CCS was honoured to have Fr. Des Wilson, Springhill Community House, officially launch the project. "We as an organisation will strive to achieve real and sustainable benefit by enhancing quality of life through our varied range of services, and most of all, create avenues and opportunities that allow people to help themselves."



































CCS was awarded £235,000 under Priority 1: Reconciling Communities Theme 1.2: Acknowledging and Dealing with the Past, managed by Special European Union Programmes Body {SEUPB}


New Premises  Due to the success of all our projects CCS has been forced to extend our office space and employ more staff. We are delighted to announce we have recieved funding for new build premises which will house our Welfare Advice Centre, and an additional Counselling Suite.


Needs Assessment  Dr David Connolly from Oxford University carried out a needs assesment of the Upper Springfield and Ballymurphy areas with the help of CCS, anyone wishing to recieve a copy of this report can request it by e-mailing:


CCS attend Garden Party Hosted by President McAleese  following the opening of our new premises by President McAleese in October 2005, CCS staff were invited to a garden party at Aras An Uachtran in July 2008.
